Responsibilities/Expectations: Motorola's Sunnyvale office, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is looking for experienced, talented, and motivated software engineers to help make its Android products a success. Specifically, we are looking for strong developers whose skills are broad and who can deliver complex software under demanding schedules and conditions. The ideal candidate must be an excellent programmer, have a strong sense of software design and architecture, and come armed with solid analytical and troubleshooting skills. Enthusiasm for tackling the complex problems involved in taking new and cutting-edge devices through the entire product cycle is a must.Knowledge Skills: * 3+ years developing complex software systems* Excellent C and C++ coding skills* Working knowledge of Java and Unix/Linux* Knowledge of Java VM or Linux internals a big plus* At least one of the following: multimedia toolkits, embedded OS, UI frameworks, networking, browser * A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive* Tack-sharp analytical ability* Excellent communication skills* BA/BS in CS or equivalent, MS preferred.
