Software Engineer, C, C++, Windows CE

Lerner Medical Devices, Inc. is an innovative start-up company developing light applications to treat skin diseases. Our mission is to develop, manufacture and market devices that utilize advanced HIFOL (High Intensity Fiber Optic Light) optical technology to provide novel phototherapeutic approaches to skin conditions and disease.We are currently developing a home use, patient administered phototherapy devices for treatment of skin diseases. We are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on software engineer capable of taking the product from concept to production.In this position you’ll be the primary software engineer for the design & development of the GUI, control system and I/O interface to hardware.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Minimum of 3 years experience in design and development of HMI and microprocessor controlled systems. Direct system and software design experience in communications, computers, consumer electronics, instrumentation, automated assembly and test equipment is highly desirable. Experience in C, C++, Windows CE and microcontroller machine interface is required. Database programming, software validation and medical device experience is a strong plus. Good organizational, written & verbal communications skills.

 

This position requires a high energy self starter, a projectlevel engineer working with a very small group of highly specialized disciplinese.g. mechanical, electrical, optical, and biomedical engineers.
