Come join a small, dynamic team and become a major contributor to our centralized network management solution. Riverbed's Central Management Console simplifies the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of our line of optimization appliances. We provide over-the-network device configuration, collection and display of aggregated network statistics, real time appliance monitoring—tools that are essential to a successful deployment of Riverbed gear to many of our customers.

What You Would Work On: Drive development and ship new features that will transform the product into a carrier class management platform.Scale the number of managed appliances by tuning existing components and if necessary, implementing radical system architecture changes.Increase the product’s reach by extending our software to operate on new platforms.Come up with creative and professional solutions for issues encountered by our customers.

 
What We're Looking For: We're looking for energetic folks who can rapidly learn new concepts and adapt to the changing needs of the team.Thrives in an environment with changing priorities and requirements.Experience in building large, clean systems written in C and C++.Background and keen interest working in Linux or Unix.A champion of detail-oriented, test-driven development.Ideal candidate would have experience in network management, statistical database systems, or configuration systems.Needs to be flexible and smoothly handle simultaneous disjoint challenges.Enjoy working with peers in cross-functional groups.BS/MS in CS or EE.
