What about how many items to buy for the Christmas shopping season or what optimizations to make on their order pipeline? Amazon collects millions of pieces of data about how people use our websites and uses it to make technical and business decisions. It's the Clickstream team's job to process this huge dataset in minutes. Do you enjoy building scalable applications that process a lot of data very quickly? Does designing something that is resilient to failures and easy to maintain sound interesting to you? If you want to architect, design, and lead development of highly-reliable, large-scale systems to collect, process and deliver Clickstream data to enable money-making decisions, the Clickstream team is for you. · Strong software background; BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.· 5 plus years in software development experience.· Demonstrated experience designing distributed Java application architecture.· Demonstrated experience working with very large datasets.· Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, learn new systems, and communicate (both written and orally) complex ideas effectively
