Job Description:
This is a software development position working with Mentor Graphics full customer IC design products, including ICgraph and DA-IC. Responsibilities for this position include developing enhancements to our existing code base, which is written in C++. This job requires the ability to learn existing C++ code and implement changes in a structured environment without disrupting the existing stability or functionality of the applications. These are end-user products interacting directly with the hardware development engineer. This position is working with a small team focused on improving and extending our existing products.
Requirements:BS/MS degree in Computer Science with a strong emphasis on software development. In addition to a basic knowledge of software development practices, good verbal and written communication skills are required.This job involves working with a team of development engineers as well as marketing, QA and customer support to understand requirements to insure that results meet expectations.Knowledge in the IC design and customer layout domain is highly desirable.
