Software Developer / User Interface

Description
The User Interface Developer will utilize their coding and design expertise to develop robust web-client user interfaces which integrate with various server-side components and back-end systems as part of a team of software developers/engineers.  The Software Developer must be familiar with web based programming languages JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, etc and XML, C#/Java and have had some exposure to relational database management systems (RDMBS) such as Oracle. The Software Developer must be driven and willing to expand his or her skills and be creative and inventive enough to implement new techniques for greater efficiency and performance.  The Software Developer must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability and be able to communicate effectively. 

Essential Functions
• Design, build and improve user-interface and production layer for existing application.
• Provide technical support for ongoing initiatives.
• Recommend and design technical improvements to maximize productivity through data exploitation and management.
• Drive projects from conceptualization through to successful deployment in an operational environment.
• Leverage software development expertise to bolster capabilities and performance of ongoing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
• Must understand and have worked as a user-interface, production layer developer.
• Must understand web-based languages such as DHTML/ASP JavaScript/ CSS/AJAX
• Must hold a B.S. degree in technical or mathematical field of study.
• 3 or more years experience overall working with software and database technologies.
• Experience with object oriented programming languages - C#, .Net, Java.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Clearance Required
TS/SCI at least CI poly

Bonus Skills
• Experience with XML, XSL Transforms and XQuery a plus.
• Experience with SQL a plus.
• Experience with Oracle and/or PL/SQL a plus.
• Experience with Java a plus.
