Software Developer - PHP/AJAX/Javascript
We are looking for at least two talented and experienced PHP developers to join our team. The primary job responsibility for these positions is to provide PHP, AJAX & Javascript programming for our education-related online applications (check out http://www.oasesonline.com/). Developers are challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in new and creative ways. The ideal candidates would have significant recent PHP experience in a software development team. In addition they should be able to contribute and be a vocal part of our management team as they will be in an ideal position to grow with our business. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experience Excellent PHP programming skills with minimum 3 years experience and preferably more. Excellent AJAX and Javascript skills and MySQL experience. Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development is ESSENTIAL. Delphi for PHP is desirable. Zend experience would be useful. Strong debugging skills and the ability to quickly and easily read and modify existing code. Ability to translate business requirements into system design, testing and delivery is essential. Ability to partner and work in a high pressure production, collaborative environment. Exceptional communication -- both written and verbal. A good sense of humor!
