.Net Programmer/Analyst:

 

Description:

 

Our team is Growing!  We have an immediate opening for a Programmer/Analyst to work as part of our growing .Net development team.  Our Programmer/Analysts work closely with internal customers to help establish business requirements and solve business issues.  Candidates for this position will need to be able to code, test and debug programs and assist in the development of major system modules.  This position also works on complex subroutines, creates complex processes and develops technical skills across multiple disciplines. Candidates must be able to present system requirements to management and assist in mentoring less experienced team members. 

 

Required Skills:

 

· 3-5 years of experience working in a .Net environment (ASP.Net, VB.Net or C#.Net)

· Must be able to perform most programming and analysis tasks independently with minimal direction

· Must have a strong knowledge of  relational databases (Oracle, SQL*Server, Informix or DB2) and be proficient with SQL

· Strong written and oral communication skills

 

Desired Skills:

 

· Prior experience working in a Unix environment using C/C++ programming languages is a plus

· Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSP, HTML or VB is a plus

· Project management experience is a plus

· Ability to write proposals and technical documents is a plus

 

Education:

 

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is desired. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
