Software Developer - L3 / Escalation

This role executes the taks required to work closely with customer issues. When support cannot figure out the source of the problem, you will work closely with them to diagnose and remediate the problem. Please note that this position absolutely requires java development skills and the ability to handle customer issues with organization and determination. A strong candidate for this position must be able to multi-task and work effective in a fast paced environment.

When customer escalations are under control, this engineer will serve as part of the development team working on the next iteration of the product.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in Java Development Experience
English: Fluent


Preferred
Engineering
At least 6 months experience in Apache, Tomcat, Linux
At least 6 months experience in Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
At least 1 year experience in Experience with MySQL, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
At least 1 year experience in Experience with Hosted Applications

• Well organized and structured
• Has a passion for solving problems and is naturally inquisitive.
• Highly proficient in Apache, Tomcat, MySQL and Linux.
• Java programming experience is a MUST.
• Experience with the following:
o At least one of: Weblogic, WAS
o At least one of: DB2, SQLServer and Oracle
o Knowledge of SMTP, SMS, etc… is a plus
• Able to work independently and within teams is a must.
