This team is looking for an experienced SDET whose primary responsibility will include performance testing the company's media player product offering, as a whole, for the next release. Addition responsibilities include: Developing automated tests for performance Assisting in the development of the performance testing infrastructure Filing well written performance bug reports Reviewing development and feature specs Creating performance test plans Testing performance bug fixes This is a fast paced environment, where everyone takes ownership of the end-to-end performance solution. The candidate must have the ability to grasp new technology quickly, be highly self-motivated, have the flexibility to occasionally operate out-of-scope and work well within a small team. Requirements: This position requires experience and knowledge of testing processes such as: test automation, code coverage, test case development and other Engineering best practices. The Software Design Engineer in Test should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be detail-minded and self-motivated.Required Skills for this SDET includes the following: 2 years software performance testing experience is required. API Network experience Web Services Demonstrated ability to deliver on time and proven success developing test automation. General knowledge of software quality assurance practices. Advanced programming skills in C# and .Net Framework are required. 2 - 3 years experience within a Windows client / server environment is required. 2 - 3 years development experience using a MS product is required.Bonus Skills: Experience Automating UI Testing. Knowledge of server hardware may be required. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
