Software Database Report Writer

Software Database Report WriterDescription: Volt is currently recruiting for a full time temporary Software Database Report Writer to work on-site at one of the largest software companies in the world. This is a temporary position that is anticipated to go until the end of the year. This person would be responsible for researching data and generating reports for the managers. Developing in Access or Excel pivot tables, a standard set of queries against SQL Server databases. Creating and formatting Access reports. May also create Access forms for launching queries and reports. This individual will need to amend MDX commands in OLAP based Excel reports. Role may require designing an Infopath form with read/write to a SQL database. Requirements: Skills Required: 1-2 years work related experience required. Extensive experience developing queries, reports, and forms in database programs. Experience using a database report writer is preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Access is also required. Must have the ability to interpret logical and physical database diagrams. Strong communication skills required. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
