Position Description:
Software Architect (Files Product Development)Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of Network File Server. The successful applicant will lead the design and development of file server technologies for storage appliance in Windows environment. Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with engineering product groups, in the area of NAS.

Qualifications:
The position requires 10+ years experience in a senior engineering role on a system level application product that has gone through the complete Engineering life circle (requirements, design, implementation, and release). Candidate must have experience with system level software development in windows, C/C++, network protocols, NFS, Filesystems, I/O Subsystems, and performance measurement/optimization. Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and motivation to work in a team environment with minimal supervision is also desired. Experience with technical leadership of s/w team. Minimum BS in CS.
