Software Application Engineer

Stratify, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is committed to diversity in the workplace.We currently have an opportunity for a Software Application Engineer.Responsibilities will include: Thorough understanding of the Stratify Legal Discovery software and processes Tracking data processing for multiple projects, and coordinating with team members working on multiple shifts Debugging problems noted during data processing, and escalating to product engineers as appropriate Ability to work independently Good verbal and written communications skills. Ability to independently handle application and system problems and exceptions across multiple applications, to ensure timely delivery of services and problem recovery Required to work on call off hours/weekends during critical project phases Have a “can do” attitude while dealing with customer issues Ability to be a team player and contribute in every aspect of the process Work well under pressure and time-critical situations; establish and maintain good working relationships with various groups within the company Ability to work with Engineering team to escalate & resolve product related issues Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/Equivalent in CS or Information systems or equivalent Must have had experience with customer support/product support environments Excellent oral and written communication skills, responsiveness, and attention to detail Advanced knowledge of MS Windows operating systems (administration, authentication schemes, file system details, & networking concepts), application software, and associated server and network hardware Ability to work with tools developed using scripting languages, HTML/XML and utilizing the Microsoft SQL Server database Personal qualities should include initiative, responsibility, detail-orientation, and multitasking skills 2 to 4 years experience preferred Experience in various scripting languages (e.g. perl, shell scripting), background in MS SQL Server and SQL in general, and/or familiarity with e-discovery software technologies and databases, a plus CONTACT INFORMATION COMPANY: Stratify, a Division of Iron Mountain Digital EMAIL: Apply by Email Send this Job to a Friend LOCATION: Mountain View, CA, CA 94043 STATUS: Full Time, Employee JOB CATEGORY: IT/Software Development CAREER LEVEL: Entry Level
