Sitecore Developer
MedTouch helps healthcare clients succeed online with content managed websites, patient portals, custom mobile applications and applications that integrate into their internal processes. Our development team is small and agile, so there are lots of opportunities available to learn new things. The Role
* Research and architect the interaction between our websites and web applications with third-party services
* Develop and enhance our content management system (CMS) based websites using latest industry standards and best practices.
* Develop mobile applications for iOS (iPhone/iPad), Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile
* Relentlessly hold us to the principals of good software development – advocate for doing things the right way, not the fast way.
* Review other developers' code for maintainability, performance and security standards compliance.
* Keep up-to-date on the latest technologies and constantly look for ways that our clients could benefit from them.
Technical Experience
* We work with a wide variety of technologies and experience in some of them is required. Willingness and excitement to learn the rest is a must.
* Web CMS experience such as Sitecore, SharePoint, Umbraco, Kentico, Ektron or Sitefinity is a MUST
* Familiarity with Microsoft .NET 3.5 and 4.0 software development using C#, including things like WCF, LINQ, and MVC
* Mobile Application development, such as iOS, Android, Blackberry or Windows Mobile
* General web technologies such as SOAP, AJAX, REST, XML, and JavaScript
* Sitecore Certified Developer is a plus
* Microsoft certification (MCTS or MCPD) is a plus
* Previous CRM experience (Dynamics or other) is a plus
* Previous Healthcare experience is a plus
* Skills in presentation layer technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, AJAX
Experience Required
* 3+ years of experience in software development
* B.S. or B.A. in a computer science related major or comparable educational experience.
* Candidates responding must be currently eligible to work in the U.S.
* Self-development and continuing personal development
This position is located in our Cambridge, MA office.
