Senior Web Master
The Senior Web Master manages the performance of the Endurance International Web sites to optimize customer and visitor experiences, sales conversions, customer cross-selling and satisfaction, competitive advantages, and search engine results. The ultimate goals are to increase sales and retention.
Responsibilities: Act as Web Master, managing all Web sites and overseeing a team of Web designers and developers.Manage all design activity, as well as some back-end applications.Establish and apply best practices for Web site effectiveness; ensure best practices are actively shared throughout the Web sites to create efficiencies for organization and consistency for usersDevelop programs to improve sales conversions, customers cross sells and referrals.Work with and lead project teams that include Web master, marketers, application engineers and project managers to create user-friendly Web pages, navigation, flow and interfaces that meet the needs of diverse customers.Initiate and manage programs that engage visitors and customers to create a sense of excitement and encourage repeat visits and referrals.Support the design and creation Web pages, interfaces, forms and content for various Web sites.Execute and assist in search-engine optimization activities Manage online programs to support advertising and marketing initiativesMonitor industry trends and competitive changes to keep sites freshConduct usability reviews, facilitate customers feedback reviews and conduct surveys to consistently improve Web site effectiveness and customer experiences Manage a variety of site-based projects; coordinate cross-functional teams.Analyze and closely monitor Web site statistics, visitor behavior and trends—be the site visitor’s liaison to the organization.Support Product Management team in understanding customer experience and satisfaction with applications.Ensure that language, naming, trademarks, positioning, and look and feel are consistently implemented and current. Manage Web-development team to schedule and prioritize changes and updates to the site.
Requirements:Seven to 10 years experience with Bachelor’s degree. At least three years Web site marketingSupervisory and project management skillsStrong project management skills in both strategic and tactical capacitiesKnowledge of Internet, e-mail, domains, Web-site development tools and/or Web hosting applications and marketplace preferredVery strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to effectively communicate with engineersProven creative problem solving and innovative mindset
