Senior Web Developer

Participate in the overall web and technical development of the online support site and related information sources. Research and apply web best practices and innovative approaches in developing and maintaining an integrated web solution that will enhance customer experience. Must work well within direct team and cross functionally with customer support, marketing, tech pubs, engineering. Work directly with IT on development and implementation of enhancements/fixes-moves-adds-changes under the guidelines of corporate IT standards. Must be able to communicate with customers directly when replying to website feedback.Requirements: - 3-5 years web development experience - Experience designing and developing multiple services and resources in a web-based environment not limited to but including experience with Java, PHP, Perl; Portal experience a plus (Oracle Portal preferred)- Proven knowledge of web architecture principles, including familiarity with web accessibility/usability norms and guidelines - Excellent communication and demonstrated leadership ability in management and development of complex web sites, including: technical development, information architecture, content development, usability, etc. - Experience working with business users to gather functional requirements - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities and levels in the organization - BA or equivalent; technical training in skills listed in job description preferred http://careers-windriver.com/WindRiver/jobboard/NewCandidateExt.aspx?__JobID=2719&__jbsrc=DD26F989-EFDA-4DDF-9A50-2E798BE54B64
