Position overview

Endeca is seeking experienced, talented technical consultants to join our Professional Services team. Every member of our team utilizes unique skills to create groundbreaking, world-class applications for high-performance, high-value, interactive information access. This position is located in our Reston, VA office.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement Web-based applications of the Endeca Information Access Platform for our customers around the world

- Participate in the full lifecycle of a project, from sales and requirements definition through application and integration design through hands-on development and tuning, testing, deployment, and support

- Solutions are typically built with Java/JSP, .NET, ASP/COM, and XML, but you may be called on to learn and use other languages and platforms

- At time you may be called on to invent completely new ways to leverage the Endeca Information Access Platform for new markets and verticals

Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a full scope polygraph (lifestyle).

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related area

- 7+ years experience building data driven Web-based applications

- Disciplined approaches to designing and developing applications and strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills

- Strong understanding of information storage and manipulation techniques including relational database practices

- Prior experience with search engines, object databases, data mining, OLAP, business intelligence tools, or network performance behavior a plus

-Willingness to travel up to 20%
