Transform your career.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS * The Technical Alliance Manager (TAM) for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is the Business Objects product evangelist responsible for growing mindshare and building out delivery capability with our Global Service partners, primarily the global Systems Integrators. * Product expert for the partner’s industry solutions and/or Go-To-Market strategies and how they integrate with the Business Objects EPM application suite, including Financial Performance Management (FPM) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). * Leads the technical effort to build out joint industry solutions and participates in the GTM strategy around those solutions. * Responsible for handling any technical questions or issues that arise throughout the partnership and setting appropriate expectations. * Partner enablement is another key aspect of the TAM role. Examples include: Delivering training or webinars around topics of interest to build partner mindshare; Generating demand for eLearning with partner contacts; and coordinating relevant Instructor Led Training (ILT) courses where appropriate. * Partner development may also include working with project teams to educate and win their support around field sales opportunities. * Other aspects of the TAM position include: working with product groups to gather solution requirements for product development initiatives; supporting partner-led Proof of Concepts; communicating the business value of the Full Stack (EPM+BI+IM); and contributing to the greater good of the entire product management and sales organizations. * Proactively lead the team with respect to the FPM and GRC applications. Enable the other TAM team members to present and demo high-level benefits of EPM suite. WORK EXPERIENCE * Minimum 5+ years Consulting and/or Presales experience with FPM and/or GRC Applications, including presenting business value propositions to executive audiences. * Deep experience and competitive knowledge in at least one FPM area (Planning/Budgeting, Consolidations, ABC/Profitability, Strategic Mgt) or GRC space. * Hands-on experience with existing Business Objects-SAP EPM/GRC Applications is preferred. * 5+ years experience working with customers/clients in all levels of a company (Senior Management, Project Management, Developers, etc.). Excellent organizational skills TRAVEL 30%EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience is required. * CPA is preferred but not required. * Is a strong negotiator and has ability to influence others. * Is a self motivated individual that needs infrequent management intervention. * Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communications skills. * Has a high degree of problem solving skills & is solution oriented.
