Senior Systems Administrator for Music/Entertainment Content portal downtown NYC. You must have experience managing large application servers in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

Administer SAN equipment
Administer, maintain and tune Windows servers (95/98, NT 4.0, 2000, 2003) and Enterprise Linux servers in a 24x7 production environment
Basic configuration and monitoring of the LAN and WAN connectivity
Create and maintain thorough server and application documentation
Liaise with Development and DBA staff on server requirements and issues
Ensure that service delivery and system functionality address requirements and service levels of a global client base

Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and related components
Advanced knowledge of Linux, SAN/NAS and networking
Working knowledge of MS SQL databases
Experience with IIS, Apache, Java, Tomcat and SSL
Knowledge of a scripting language, preferably VBScript or Perl
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and networking concepts
