For more information, please visit www.Fiserv.com JOB SUMMARY: This new position is designed to enhance the overall technical knowledge of our development team and provide guidance on improving our overall development processes. Additionally, the System Analyst will work with a variety of teams to design and implement enhancements to existing core functionality, as well as design/develop new offerings that extend the functionality of products. QUALITIES Superior problem solving skills. Solid understanding of software engineering principles. Solid understanding of the software product life cycle. Ability to work and be productive in a "matrix" organization structure. Ability to convert abstract client requirements into product specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for designing, coding, and debugging assigned product enhancementsWork with Product, Project and Resource managers in estimating various project assignments. Work with the product Architect and other developers collaboratively in coming up with effective solutions. Help Develop Tools/Utilities to improve the team productivity. Contribute to establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments. Ensure the assigned tasks are completed on time and conform to XRoads’ quality standards while following the established development methodology. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent experience.
