Follett Digital Resources produces e-books and digital publishing products for the education marketplace. We work in a relaxed, exciting and challenging environment. This is a great, hands-on full life-cycle development opportunity.Design, develop and deploy software systems. Works closely with Development Team Leads and others in the development process to produce quality software systems and services. Ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years software development experience with web application technologies. A minimum of 1 year experience with Ruby on Rails is required. Some experience with PHP and MySQL is preferred. Experience with HTML design and JavaScript Software engineering experience required, specifically with a minimum of 5 years of Java experience Experience with databases, specifically using SQL with databases (MS SQL Server desired, Oracle is a plus Proven ability to work amidst changing deadlines and shifting priorities Proven ability to work effectively and independently under limited direction Proven ability to deliver real products on time and with high quality Strong communication and logical problem solving skills Self motivated team player Comfortable with a rapid development environment RESPOND HERE!
