Senior Software Tester

Sr. Software TesterFACTOR is seeking an experienced and motivated software tester to work in a team environment, applying the best QA testing principles to our software products.  The successful candidate must have excellent technical skills and be committed to Software Testing/QA as a profession. Responsibilities:

·         Plan and develop functional test plans and scripts for all phases of testing including:  functional, performance, and regression testing

·         Determine test objectives and standards by reviewing customer requirements

·         Conducts application testing of Windows and mobile systems

·         Verifies and validates test results by accessing and querying databases using SQL and test programs

·         Reports test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data

·         Resolves testing problems by modifying testing methods during tests; conferring with management to revise test objectives and plans

·         Gain an understanding of business requirements, current system operations/functionality and proposed new requirements

·         Write test programs to automatically validate test results

Requirements:

·         Minimum five years experience with software quality assurance

·         Experience with testing at various levels (functional, integration, system, load and performance testing)

·         Minimum 1 year experience with a mainstream programming language (C, C#, Java, VB, etc.)

·         Fluent in SQL

·         Experience testing Windows based applications

·         Experience as QA team lead a plus

·         BS in Computer Science or related field.
