Senior Software Technician for integration team needed in KY!

Be part of a dynamic integration team that executes stress tests and concurrency tests with all firmware running together. Make use of testing tools written for functionality to stress specifics in the integrated environment. Team is also responsible for testing the embedded systems framework including the firmware API using the embedded systems. This contract position is scheduled to go for approximately 12 months. Test printer firmware with software test plans and procedures and report problems to software engineers and assist in tracking down problems. Review specifications and compare to test plans/cases and printer functionality. Write, review, maintain and execute test plans. Design, document, implement, maintain and test tools for automated testing. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and JAVA experience required. 2 years experience in Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems. SQL, Perl, C++, experience in maintaining existing software and Excellent Communications skills both written and oral are required.
