Job Description

An opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to support the clientâ€™s work on a system that is critical for their success. A new development effort is underway to transition legacy client/server application to Web/SOA architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a JAVA enterprise (JEE/J2EE) compliant. A back in Oracle/BEA Weblogic will be beneficial.

Qualifications

8 plus years full lifecycle development of large, high volume web applicationsExtensive experience in the object oriented analysis, design and development of J2EE Component-Based Architectures and FrameworksKnowledge of J2EE architecture and comrponly-used design patternsApplication Server experience preferably with BEA Weblogic ServerDemonstrate history of support for multiple database management systemsPrefer experience in established web services to satisfy high volume data requirementsTeam player, good communication and inter-personal skills

Education

Bachelors Degree Required, Masters Degree Preferred, at least one degree must be in technical or engineering discipline

Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
