Senior Software Engineer - API Products (C++)

Overview:We are currently seeking driven and talented Senior Software Engineers who thrive on pushing the limits of technology to produce state of the art trading applications for our API development team. TT's APIs provide the feature-set and performance capabilities to develop robust, versatile applications. XT API Senior Software Engineers are constantly challenged to deliver creative, imaginative solutions for highly complex technical issues. Your mission will be to provide hands-on guidance to other Engineers to develop new APIs. Under the guidance of an Architect, a Senior Engineer is provided the opportunity to learn and grow by working with a team of talented and experienced Software Engineers. Responsibilities:·  Architect new features and help define API requirements.·  Prototyping of new API features.·  Design and code new API features.·  Analyze performance bottle necks of the existing API.·  Participate in design discussions and review sessions.·  Assist with product documentation, automated unit testing and ensuring overall product quality. Requirements:·  Must have developed an API on a windows platform using COM or .NET.·  Must have exceptional communication skills.·  10+ years of solid development experience with C++.·  Strong object-oriented design skills.·  COM and Win 32 API skills are required.·  Strong knowledge of multithreaded within an API is a must.·  Working knowledge of STL and template programming is a plus.·  Experience with .NET is a plus.·  Financial trading systems experience is a plus.·  Ability to understand business requirements and translate to technical requirements. TT is committed to providing an environment where highly talented, challenge-hungry people thrive.
