Senior Software Engineer

Visible Inventory is looking for a talented, creative, .Net Application Developer. The successful candidate will design, develop and support Visible Inventory’s client-server and web based applications.

Primary Responsibilities
* Design, develop, enhance and maintain current and new .Net client-server and web based applications
* Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle from initial requirements to testing, implementation, maintenance, and support.
* Provide technical and end user documentation.
* Research and recommend options within specification, budget and schedule.

Experience / Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years software development experience
* Strong experience in .Net Technologies including VB.Net, ASP.Net
* Strong experience in MS-SQL programming and design
* Strong experience in C#, HTML, Javascript, Web Forms & Services, IIS
* Experience with .Net Socket Library, .Net services, SMTP interface, WSE
* Experience with GUI design, client and web based
* Familiarity with Sybase PowerDesigner, CrystalReports and SQL Tools
* Experience with Visual Studio, and Visual Source Safe
* Experience with application installation package generators
* Familiarity with PC hardware, embedded hardware
* BSEE, BSCS, MSCS or similar technical degree and equivalent experience

Other Skills
* Microsoft certified developer (MCSD, MCAD)
* Experience with Help file generator RoboHelp, web and client side
* Familiar with Adobe Acrobat, and utilities such as Orca
* Experience with add-on GUI controls, such as Component One's TrueDBGrid
* Self motivated - Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical individuals
