Senior Software/Embedded Engineer

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design, code, test, debug and document programs in C/C++ for Linux and bare metal embedded systems.

2. Support engineering efforts with programs and scripts

3. Participate in designing architecture of future hardware platforms.

4. Interact with Applications and Support engineers to support customers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Eight (8) or more years C/C++ development experience.

2. Embedded Linux development experience.

3. Hardware and/or device drivers experience.

4. Real-time OS experience

5. Experience with Windows and Linux C/C++ development systems.

6. Excellent communication skills.

7. Excellent technical troubleshooting, code debugging, and problem solving skills.

 

DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

1. RFID air and network protocol experience.

2. Experience with and knowledge of OOA/D/P.

3. Other programming languages especially Ruby and Java.

4. Performance optimization

5. DSP knowledge

6. Ability to interpret standards (ISO, EPC)
