Senior Software Developer: Implicit Architecture

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Implicit Architecture group at our Providence, RI headquarters. The Architecture team is responsible for developing the infrastructure supporting all aspects of finite element computations for the Implicit products. As our products continue to penetrate new and broader markets, we must ensure our software evolves accordingly by allowing for greater flexibility, scalability, and maintainability. This position offers an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in advancing the architecture in these areas. The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical direction and vision and must have extensive experience with large-scale software development and modern programming techniques.A MS or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science is required, along with a minimum of 6 years experience developing architecture and infrastructure for commercial simulation software.
