More information about Concur is available at www.concur.com Job Overview: The individual in this role splits their time between providing strategic functional and technical assistance to the sales team members in order to facilitate closing sales and managing all aspects of Sales Operations Worldwide. Reports to the EVP of Sales.Responsibilities: Maintain thorough knowledge of Concur's competitor's products, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, product offerings, etc. Interacts with individuals across all functional areas in the organization incorporating abilities to interact at all levels of management. Be able to participate in strategic company initiatives, as well as able to manage cross-functional projects utilizing resource across the company Assist the Exec VP of NA Sales with company dashboards, compensation plans, organizational changes and strategies. Determine need for and implement training programs for the Sales Department Operates under moderate supervision. Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.Qualifications: Education, Experience & Training required: Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
MBA preferred Five or more years experience in a field relating to Concur's product lines and/or functional financial functions (i.e. ERP financials) Broad business knowledge: ability to interpret and utilize industry information on competitors Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and databases Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to pass a background check Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Uses professional concepts and company policies to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods for obtaining solutions Receives no instruction on routine work and only general instruction on new assignments Interacts with prospects at all levels in order to educate and persuade Interacts with other Concur employees at all levels Travels up to 60% of time Enjoys coaching other individuals Organized time management skills in order to devote the necessary time to both individual tasks and team management tasks.
