Senior Sales Engineer

If you want to work closely with Account Managers to engage and secure initial business as well as grow new business opportunities with existing clients, the Engel Consulting Group may have just the right job for you in the Denver, CO metro area with one of our valued customers. This is a permanent position offered at competitve salary rates.

You will work closely with clients throughout the sales process which will include client meetings, presentations, technology and solution recommendations, evaluation, implementation, and proposal delivery. Along with Sales Directors and Account Managers, you will contribute to meeting revenue and margin goals for the territory.Minimal travel- 25% max

Responsibilities include:
** Assist in the selling process by participating in business development calls
** Manage the proposal and RFP process from start to finish
** Coordinate follow-up sales activities (i.e. evaluation implementation, training)
** Proficiency in presenting and identify opportunities as it relates to our four practice areas
** Assist in the development of standard proposal templates
** Assist in selling by establishing contacts and developing relationships with prospects
** Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new solutions and services
** Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
** Obtain and maintain top tier vendor certification
** Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional associations such as ISSA.

Qualifications:
Certifications in Juniper, Citrix, Blue Coat, RSA and Network Intelligence preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance ** GLBA, SOX, PCI, etc.
Thorough understanding of large scale environments.
