Are you currently working with a Big 4 firm and looking for a change? Our client is looking for talent such as yours to train for an excellent opportunity as a Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant to join the team at their corporate headquarters located in Houston, Texas.
As Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant, you will: Provide consultation and serve as technical reference to sales team to ensure proper revenue recognition compliance on software contractsReview and analyze contracts, communicate revenue impact and offer alternative structures, if availablePartner with Sales, Legal and Management to ensure adherence to accounting guidelinesProvide guidance and training to various groups on software revenue recognition “best practices”
Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plusBig 4 experience highly desirable along with strong technical accounting skillsEssbase, Business Objects and Access skills a plus
