Senior Project Manager – Salesforce.com Consulting Practice

 

 

CoreMatrix Systems is expanding our consulting practice and we need your expertise!  We are building our project leadership team and have an immediate need for a Project Manager in the San Francisco area.

 

We are looking for a Project Manager that brings:

 10+ years experience on technical project teams or professional services environments in delivery-related roles; 5+ years in project leadership rolesExperience in planning, organizing, and executing projects of varying complexity, delivering them within specified timeframes and budgets.Experience with Business Process Re-engineering and Change Management.Experience in systems integration, package implementation (e.g. SFA, CRM, ERP) and custom application development.Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions and establishing task prioritization, based on business need / value.Extensive understanding of Fixed Price project planning and deliveryExcellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies. Team player with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of enterprise packaged solutions, such as, SFA, CRM and ERP. Experience with a top-tier consulting organization and strong client-facing skills. B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS.

 

As a CoreMatrix Project Manager, your primary focus will be leading a team of consultants in enabling customers to adopt, use and successfully deploy Software as a Service (SaaS) application solutions.  You will bring a strong blend of skills and experience in both business analysis and project management.  You will function as a trusted advisor to the customer steering board, project management and project delivery team. You will be engaged at senior / executive levels in providing recommendations and proactive best practice advice through all phases of the project life cycle.

 

You must be able to determine project scope, create a level of effort (LOE) estimate, develop a Statement of Work (SOW), lead a functional requirements gathering sessions, write requirements and functional design documents and manage the team through package deployment, systems integration and custom development efforts.  You must also have strong experience managing client expectations and project scope.

 

A year or more of experience with the salesforce.com application and completion of one or more salesforce.com deployments is strongly desired, but not a requirement.  Vertical market experience in Life Sciences, Media & Communications, High Tech Manufacturing or Financial Services a plus.

 

You must be able to travel regionally, nationally and/or abroad.
