Some of the manufacturing and supply chain functions impacted by this position are sourcing, procurement, materials management, manufacturing and finished product testing. As an integral part of the business team, this position facilitates the implementation of world class processes, tools and systems technology investments. This leader engages directly in the transformation of operations, evangelizing business process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and other accepted methods. At a strategic level, the PJM facilitates the future state of business processes and capabilities contributing to the operational and technology long range planning cycles. Core Job Responsibilities· Applies world class project and program management expertise to facilitate and implement future state capabilities.· Create, maintain and control the project schedules.· Create, maintain and control the project dashboard.· Facilitate high impact processes and meetings.· Shepherd the project teams through the vision, scope, integration and implementation of large scale processes.· Be the communication hub for the project.· Strategize and implement continuous improvement practices.· Facilitate the right communications approach across diverse functional groups· Analyzes project risks, develops the risk management plan and mitigates subsequent issues.· Establishes and maintains project roadmaps· Drives process changes, ensures adequate documentation, training and systems/data access control· Evangelist for the use of business process engineering (BPE) methods to ensure process excellence· Is a core member of the project leadership team for large and/or complex process and systems initiatives and contributes to overall project governance E&D enables the extended retail supply chain for all Microsoft products, via direct system integration with over 300 partners spanning the extended supply chain from component suppliers through to retail. E&D Systems’ workforce numbers over 300 people, located in Redmond, Dublin, Singapore, Hyderabad and Beijing, with about 50% employee and 50% vendor staffing. We focus on continuous workplace improvement, with support for flexible working arrangements, creation of recognition opportunities and a strong emphasis on career and professional development Qualifications: The successful candidate will have deep subject matter experience in project management. The candidates must also demonstrate strong consulting business development, business management, and staff leadership skills. Career experience should include a senior level project management functional position with a proven process and implementation track record. Project experience will include multiple enterprise systems implementations where the candidate was responsible and accountable for a successful business outcome. People management experience required. Demonstrated success in leading business process change efforts required. Candidate must have 7-10 years of large scale project management experience and a BA/BS in Business or Engineering. Professional certification in a business, supply chain discipline, and PMP certification is preferred. Candidate will possess excellent analytical, collaborative and communication skills with a proven implementation track record. This position is highly demanding and requires someone who can quickly adapt to an ever evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
