SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

VMG USA/I-Race Ltd, a premiere producer of systems for the gaming industry, located in Bethesda, Maryland, requires a Senior Programmer/Analyst for an immediate start.  A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential. A minimum of 5 years experience in the software industry is required, with experience in design, coding and testing software. The right candidate will be a self starter and will be able to work well in a physically distributed environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are prerequisites. Essential Skills

Java

SQL and database interfacing

Experience in XML processing

Experience in client/server based systems

 

Highly Desirable, but not essential

Informix SPL experience

Java web based development

Experience in the gaming industry

Flash Actionscript 3.0 programming

 

Beneficial Secondary Skills

C/C++ programming

OOD/OOP
