Senior Programmer Analyst
ESP Systems Professionals is an industry leader in the recruitment of Information Technology professionals. We place technical IT personnel, from programmers to senior level executives in permanent and contract positions. No other company knows IT recruiting as well as ESP.
Our client is looking for a skilled programmer analyst to be responsible for the architecture, development and performance of all Internet based software applications (both internally and externally developed) used at this company. The incumbent is expected to maintain and improve current systems as well as work on the development of new ones.
Responsibilities
-Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
-Requirement gathering
-Design specifications
-Development estimates
-Adjusting project scope to meet delivery deadline
-Develop test plans
-Produce documentation
-Support rollout phase
-Maintain operational application
-Finished solutions
-Lead project workflow and give workflow direction to others assigned to team.
-Aid in the evaluation and selection of new technology in business tools
-Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
-The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of information systems experience in an ECommerce or internet based environment
-Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
-6-8+ years experience with Internet applications development
-6+ years experience with Internet applications development using C#.NET and XML technologies
-Ability to work as part of a team on projects
-High degree of internal customer focus
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
