About the job
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager - ELN you will join the new Kalabie Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) team that is part of Agilent’s Life Science and Chemical Analysis’ (LSCA) organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a commercialization plan for our premier ELN product line – including integrated partner products (e.g., Accelrys). You will be responsible for defining ELN products and solutions while creating synergies and strategies for the ELN portfolio with other LSCA software and informatics products and external partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading marketing efforts to identify and capitalize on new ELN informatics applications
- Working with customers and collaborators to identify critical informatics bottlenecks and opportunities in existing technologies
- Leveraging “hands on” experience in ELN and informatics to produce functional requirements documents that capture the ELN needs and workflows of scientists in many disciplines.
- Providing ELN positioning and messaging collateral that effectively communicates the benefits of ELN
- Conducting competitive analysis within the ELN software space
- Contributing to the development of the vision, strategies, tactics, and business plan for the Kalabie ELN portfolio About you
Requires:
- MS/PhD in Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Cell Biology) or equivalent, MBA is highly desirable.
- Knowledge or past product management experience of Electronic Lab Notebook market
- 5+ years in-depth experience in cheminformatics or bioinformatics and in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry in the disease discovery (target identification) and/or drug discovery phase (lead optimization)
- Demonstrated commercialization skills and strategic planning
- Knowledge with product and/or solution lifecycles and development.
- Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, negotiation, planning, organization, and facilitation and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a complex dynamic global matrix team environment
