More information is available on the Web at www.wirelessgeneration.com Responsibilities of Senior Manager, Business Development: The Senior Manager, Business Development will play an integral role in the success of the company. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development and Government Affairs, the Sr. Manager will have the following responsibilities: Research and analyze new partnership opportunities. Working with Wireless Generation’s partners (publishers, universities, and other educational organizations) to ensure successful implementations of each relationship. Sourcing, researching, analyzing and pursuing new partnership opportunities. Serve as a liaison between the partners and Wireless Generation’s internal departments. Manage day-to-day relationships with strategic partners, developing an understanding of their products, services, and strategies. Negotiate partnership terms with new strategic partners, developing mutual wins. Sustain workflow within the company and between Wireless Generation and partners to improve customer experience and organizational efficiency. Present Wireless Generation products and services to potential partners. Collaborate with finance to build business models to support deal analysis and negotiation. Collaborate with marketing and product development on market and competitor analysis. Play a support role for corporate development activities.Requirements of Senior Manager, Business Development: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or MBA a plus. 2 years relevant experience in the K-12 education industry preferred. Financial fluency and business judgment. Experience with quantitative analysis and business analysis. Experience negotiating complex agreements. Sales experience preferred. Proven ability to think strategically. Strong process development, project management and problem solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
