Duties and Responsibilities:

As a software developer - responsible for designing, constructing and testing software components as specified in requirements documents as well as approved change requests.  Responsible for developing application programs for a variety of software applications in support of the work of the agency serving as a team member in a specialized group of programmers working on complex, multi-faceted prototype and production systems.

 

The software developer will perform the following duties:

· Create Software Design Document (SDD) and Software Architecture Document (SAD)

· Code software changes for project

· Internally test software changes (Unit Test)

· Assist SQA Tester in building test cases

· Participate in Work Product Reviews

· Participate in Technical Reviews

· Preparation of programming specifications such as inputs, outputs, flow diagrams, decision logic tables, and linkages with other applications systems

· Developing block diagrams and program coding;

· Testing, validating, and documenting programs

 

Required Qualifications:

·  At least seven years software development experience

·  At least five years of software development experience with MUMPS programming language

· Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience.

 

Desired Qualifications:Experience with large-scale Health IT system integration.
