Senior Java / WebSphere Systems Architect

We are in need of a high caliber web development professional for an extraordinary opportunity to assist in the development and deployment of some exciting high traffic, transactional online products.

We are looking for an experienced and sharp technology professional who is adept in J2EE, J2SE, skilled with IBM WebSphere development, XML, and related cutting edge Internet tools and technologies. Must have at least 5+ years Java programming experience, and be extremely skilled in the following: IBM WebSphere and WSAD J2EE / Java programming including struts XML / XSL JSP, servlets, server side Java programming Enterprise Java Beans ( EJB ) Oracle database integration Rational and UML experience

Must be accurate with technical qualifications which will be challenged.

The ideal candidate should have experience in working on large successful web projects. He/she should be comfortable working with users to define specifications and working with other programmers to determine the most efficient design and implementation strategy. Experience with full project life cycle management in a web environment is essential, as is a strong comfort level with multi-tier WebLogic financial or e-commerce solutions.

Work will be done at Northern NJ, Buffalo, NY or a variety of other locations in the US that may interest the candidate.

Interested in either hourly contractor or FT employee.
