Senior Java / Web Services / Portal Developer

Working Qualifications
Must have strong, demonstrated Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience with Java EE (J2EE) technologies. Successfully developed and deployed multiple Web applications using leading Web frameworks such as JSF, JBoss Seam, Spring, and Struts. Experience with AJAX a plus. Hands on development in Web Services – Axis, WS-Security, JAX-WS, WSDL, UDDI, JMS. Experience working with JBoss Portal or equivalent JSR-168 Portal Server a plus.Experience working with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) components.Qualified applicants should have experience with many of the following standards/frameworks/tools: J2EE, JSF, Struts, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, ANT, EJB, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, SQL, XML, Oracle, MySQL, EnterpriseDB, and reporting tools (e.g. Crystal, Pentaho, JasperReports).Experience using a solid unit testing approach such as Test Driven Development with JUnit. Ability to analyze complex problems, create design, and implement software solutions using established design patterns and Best Practices.Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team under time sensitive deadlines; good organization and time management skills.Ability to travel a plus since some positions may require 25-50% travel.Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field required.
