Senior Interaction Designer

We are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer Responsibilities:·  Contribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable web and applications in a team environment·  Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings·  Use business requirements and market research to assist in developing use cases, high-level requirements·  Design user interface, and interaction flow with an emphasis on user goals and experience·  Design the visual design of the web and applications·  Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and experience prototypes·  Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications·  Present design work to the user experience team and product teams for review and feedback·  Contribute to the User Experience team’s shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies For more information on our team check out: www.viewmyworld.com/corpRD Qualifications·  At least 5 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role·  A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions·  Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills·  Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs·  Fluency in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques·  Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for web and applications·  Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience·  Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio.·  Preferred skills and experience:·  Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash·  Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides Microsoft offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, dental, vacation, employee stock purchase plan, and 401k, plus some great extras including: our 24-hour nurse line, stay fit program, product discounts, and paid infant care leave.
