A medical response center keeping track of your aging parent’s health data on HealthVault and taking appropriate action when an anomaly occurs. Are you a Senior Information Architect who lives, breathes and eats the best UI practices, knows how to educate others with less domain knowledge on what makes a good user experience, is an undying advocate for the user, is passionate about the Consumer Health space and is driven to create the best user experience possible? Have you designed innovative UI for web-based and client applications? If your answers are yes, then please read on. We’re looking for a Senior Information Architect to help define and drive our products’ user experience for new features and enhancements to our existing products, and for the next wave of products that leverage the HealthVault platform, to connect consumers, healthcare providers, helping consumers to manage their healthcare data. Responsibilities·  Work hand-in-hand with Program Managers, Product Marketing, User Researchers and Interaction Designers to define and drive the user experience requirements for our web- and software-based products, from feature and product definition through product release.·  Create personas, user scenarios, work flow diagrams, product and site architectures, wireframes, and navigation models.·  Collaborate with User Researchers on UX test plans, methodologies and protocols. And develop low-fidelity prototypes when needed.·  Ensures the user experience integrity is carried through a product from inception to launch by close collaboration with Product Marketing, Program Management, User Research, Design and Development·  Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to help define and defend UI decisions.·  Present progress to core team and to senior and executive management. Qualifications & Skills·  At least 4 years of Information Architecture experience at a senior level for an online website, or online application.·  Created the UX for web-based applications by developing personas, user scenarios, conceptual models, product and site architectures (site maps), work flow diagrams, and wireframes for several consumer websites, particularly for version 1 releases.·  Follows user-centered design best practices and techniques.·  Knows all the latest web-application technologies (Web 2.0), as well as standard HTML, DHTML, CSS, etc.·  Ability to develop low-fidelity prototypes for user research and proof-of-concept.·  Strong positive track record on delivering on time and releasing successful products under tight timelines.·  Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and drive hard UX decisions across cross-functional teams.·  Minimum 3 years experience driving and shipping consumer targeted products.·  BS degree in Computer Science, HCI, related field, or equivalent experience required.·  Successful candidate will have enthusiasm and energy to work in a start-up environment, eager to deliver in short-cycle product releases.·  Portfolio demonstrating past projects is required.For more information on our group see www.viewmyworld.com/corpRD Microsoft offers an excellent benefits package to full-time employees including medical, dental, vacation, employee stock purchase plan, and 401k, plus some great extras including: our 24-hour nurse line, stay fit program, product discounts, and paid infant care leave.
