Senior GIS Applications Developer

One of our Clients located in the Ann Arbor area is currently looking for a Senior GIS Applications Developer for a Contract opportunity.

 

The Senior GIS Applications Developer is responsible for support of the Client’s ESRI applications and interfaces to other systems. The focus will be in GIS applications (ESRI specifically) - and experience with a bolt on application called DESIGNER for ESRI. The Senior GIS Applications Developer will primarily need strong Java Web Services, C# OO programming skills  and expert ESRI skills(ARCOBJECTS, ARCIMS, ARCGIS ENGINE, ARCGIS SERVER, MAPOBJECTS, ARCFM 9.2, ARCVIEW 9.2).



Finally, individuals MUST be highly motivated self starters, have a good attitude.This person will need strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal skills are a MUST. 

Requirements:

· Must be adept in the following technologies:  ESRI, Windows 2003 Server, MS Windows 95/98/2000/XP, Rational Clear Case Atria, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, Miner & Miner ArcFM, GT Viewer, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Engine, .NET Development, Web Services, Tomcat, Oracle SQL, ORACLE SQL PLUS, JAVA/JAVA BEANS/JAVA SERVLETS, Visual BASIC, Linux, XML

· Must have strong analytical and time-management skills and be able to establish goals, set priorities and meet deadlines

· Must be able to handle sensitive/confidential information
