Senior Events Planner *Hopkinton, MA Opening** TAC Worldwide Companies is currently recruiting a Senior Events Planner to fill an opening with a large national client on a 3 month contract basis in Hopkinton, MA. The ideal candidate(s) will fulfill the following responsibilities:  Responsible for the development and execution of marketing events Work with Event Managers on event design, overall program logistics, production and theme development Serve as cross functional project manager with other departments within the company and with vendor Develop event marketing programs within budget; Research and report on alternate scenarios to achieve budgetary goals On-site coordination; Participate as full event team member while onsite at events and work collaboratively to ensure full coordination of logistics and timing with event planners Interface with event attendees Ensure consistency with all attendee messaging Serve as a strategic resource for messaging/content when necessary Assist with contract negotiations Develop Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs). Research and report on sites and/or vendors capable of meeting the spec Analyze results and prepare report with "go forward" plan to gain consensus Prepare event prospectus and day-by-day summaries Manage food and beverage planning Manage online event registration, hotline phone support, and reporting and badge making Develop collateral, signage, welcome kits, agendas, departure notices etc... in support of the event Manage transportation plan Manage staffing plan Develop event timelines and manage tasks within approved timeframe Develop written and html-based collateral in support of the event Act as the primary interface for all program production Source vendors based on best ROI Act as the primary event marketing interface in all facets of the assigned program 30% travel required Skills Strong communications, information gathering, and people skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills: MS Office Suite necessary. HTML a plus.
