Senior Enterprise Sales Executive Role (State and Local Government)

Our client, a leader in enterprise financial software solutions, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to expand their State and Local Government presence in a Western territory.   Our client has excellent client references!  This opportunity offers a competitive base compensation with unlimited income potential.  Responsibilities:·  Responsible for selling B2B e-commerce, Software as a Service (SaaS), financial applications to clients, prospective clients, and channel partners for the purpose of generating sales revenues and related contracts. ·  Responsible for achieving territory sales quota. ·  Identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each sales prospect, their buying and organizational influences and their decision-making processes.·  Attract clients to the unique technology our client offers through combinations of marketing efforts such as industry trade shows, telephone and in-person client meetings.·  Remain current on industry trends and competitive knowledge.·  Source opportunities for further account penetration within existing clients and channel partners.·  Identify client expectations regarding deal terms and contractual processes.·  Liaise with appropriate corporate resources regarding contract terms, statements of work, master service level agreements, etc Specific Requirements:·  Bachelors Degree·  A proven, and verifiable, track record of lead generation and qualification, account penetration, growth and revenue recognition to the state and local government market is required·  Enterprise software sales experience.·  5+ years of direct sales experience with information systems/business to business technologies.·  Experience selling financial applications is highly preferred.·  Ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff in professional and diplomatic manner.·  Proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multidimensional sales effort at the customer level and corporate environment. Key Competencies:·  Strategic and analytical thinker with the confidence to advise and counsel others.·  Knowledge of best practices in selling to the state and local government market.·  Ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff in professional and diplomatic manner.·  Ability to lead process and organizational improvements.·  Excellent team development and people management skills.·  Strong client relationship management skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills, communication skills, and integrity.·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.·  Strong mathematical, problem solving, and computer skills As a professional search firm, we will only be responding to those inquiries that most closely align with the stated requirements.
