TC Digital is a majority-owned subsidiary of 4Kids Entertainment, a publicly traded, global provider of children's entertainment and merchandise (NYSE: KDE). TC Digital produces and markets trading card games.

 

TC Digital's affiliated company, TC Websites LLC, produces and operates websites on which trading card games can be played. TC Websites' in-house technology team works hand-in-hand with TC Digital's trading card game development team to develop websites that replicate traditional trading card game play online for a unique entertainment experience.

TC Digital's first entertainment property to utilize this platform is Chaotic®. The Chaotic Dawn of Perim™ trading card game launched on October 24th 2007 together with its companion website www.ChaoticGame.com (currently in beta).

The Chaoticâ„¢ Trading Card Game and the Chaotic Online Experience introduce a 'new way to play' to the multi-billion-dollar trading card industry. Chaotic offers both the traditional face-to-face trading card game play and online play at www.ChaoticGame.com, a fully COPPA-compliant website that provides a kid-safe and parent-friendly environment.

Position

TC Digital Game's web development team is a small, agile and extremely hard working group of talented developers and engineers who are focused on delivering the best online trading card game experience. The Senior .NET Developer will develop and deliver back-end and middle-tier features and packages that are highly scalable, efficient and easily maintainable. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web technologies and a strong desire to deliver an amazing user experience built on a solid technology foundation. The candidate must be capable of working without intense micro-management and deliver results on time with an exceptional level of quality.

 

ResponsibilitiesDevelop highly scalable back-end and middle-tier features and packages.Write and ship code that is maintainable and efficient.Collaborate with other developers and engineers, and other members of the TC Digital team to create an exceptional user experience. Stay up to date with the latest technologies related to .NET and the web.

RequirementsStrong development background with C#, T-SQL.Expert in .NET 2.0 or 3.0, with a strong understanding of the underlying functionality of .NET5+ years of development experience building highly scalable, highly available .NET applicationsSignificant development experience in T-SQLSignificant knowledge of HTML Knowledge of .NET development outside the use of WYSIWYG controls is a plus.Experience with Mono is a plus.Experience with front-end development technology such as CSS/JavaScript is a plus.Capable of translating product and business requirements into production-ready code.Excellent verbal and written skills.
