WebVisible’s service suite includes local search marketing, locally-targeted banner advertising, fixed placement ads, profile and landing page technologies, and call-related services packages.  All products are privately branded and sold by a growing list of resellers in the yellow pages, newspaper, online marketing and other industries.

Position Overview:
Senior Database Administrator will involve management of multiple databases in a highly dynamic environment. Provide leadership and advanced technical expertise to a team in support of operational and project related activities. Provide advanced technical and operational support to other departments and teams as required in support of business objectives.

Requirements & Experience:

· Provide advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems, determining cause and effect.

· Lead and direct other resources in support of project, operational activities and establish policies.

· Understand and apply advanced database administration, management and performance tuning techniques.

· Function as technical liaison for database related project activities.

· Evaluate hardware and software requirements and be able to justify purchase decisions.

· Configure and tune hardware and software to insure optimum performance and resource utilization.

· Ability to write and present reports and interact with vendors and senior management.

· Advanced knowledge of debugging and performance tuning stored procedures, UDFs and triggers.

· Working knowledge of index analysis, data normalization

· Strong understanding of various monitoring and tuning tools such as Profiler and Spotlight.

· Expertise in hardware which includes clusters, RAID and multi-processor architecture

· Solid knowledge of networking and SQL Server connectivity.

· Experience in shell scripting, VBScript, DTS and SSIS package design
Seven+ years experience in a large scale SQL 2000 and 2005 environment with specific experience with Analysis Services and Reporting Services.

· Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server

· Database architecture design experience (load distribution, clustering, backup & recovery strategy, etc.)

· Stored procedures, triggers, clustering, indexing, foreign key relations, data warehousing

· Display strong inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills.

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
