Primary Responsibilities:
We're looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic Legal & Compliance Organization (LCO) as an attorney focusing on employment matters. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company and be part of an exciting group of team-oriented legal professionals. You'll be legal support for Intuit’s Human Resources organization as well as partner across the LCO on department priorities. You will work closely with the HR Paralegal and be a legal business partner to the Human Resources organization, ensuring compliance with company-wide HR programs & processes, helping drive continuous improvement in execution, providing counsel on escalated employee relations matters and managing employment claims and litigation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience primarily in employment law with a solid understanding of all aspects of employment law including wage & hour and discrimination law. Experience supporting global hr operations also highly desirable. Experience in both a top tier corporate law firm and in-house preferred. Required skills include: team leadership, project management, execution, business judgment and focus, confidence to strongly influence decision making process, detail orientation with the ability to see the big picture, communication and presentation skills, process orientation, creativity, team player, patience and excellent teaching and training skills.
