Niteo Partners is currently seeking a Cognos Systems Developer with Applix TM1 software experience.


Responsibilities:

*Gather and document requirements from end-users for new applications/reports/analytics
*Design, develop/coordinate development, test and deploy new application/analytical/reporting solutions to meet end-user requirements
*Prepare estimates and technical assumptions/risks for new applications and enhancements/upgrades for existing applications per business case descriptions
*Prepare technical specifications and make recommendations for new business applications, application architectures, and enhancements/upgrades to existing applications per business requirements for complex enterprise-wide solutions
*Develop clear, concise and accurate detailed designs
*Create and maintain all required documentation

Requirements:

*Minimum 5+ years development experience working with reporting technologies: Cognos, Applix TM1
*Experienced with Applix TM1 8.4.3, experienced with TM1 server maintenance, environment setup, cube design, and application design
*Minimum 3+ years experience writing detailed design specifications
*Strong knowledge of Applix TM1
*Experienced with using TM1 in conjunction with SQL databases
*Familiar with ETL development using Turbo Integrator / Informatica
*Experience developing OLAP objects using Cognos, Applix TM1
*Knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and business processes, Helpful to have experience and understanding of various financial planning models such as rolling forecast applications, price volume applications, strategic planning applications, budgeting applications, etc.
*Good data modeling experience and familiar with Data Warehouse best practices (Kimball, Inman)
*Relational database development and design knowledge - very strong Oracle, SQL skills
*Experience in implementing security
