Security Administrator

For over 50 years, the BBN name has been synonymous with technological innovation. BBN Technologies is seeking a Security Administrator to provide general security support for Government Security activities at BBN and other locations. Specifically, provide day-to-day security oversight for Collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities at BBN Headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.Specific duties include: * Document Control* Program Access Requests (PARs) and associated Personnel Security Clearance Functions.* Classification Management * Visitor Control* Physical security of SCIFs and SAPFs* Security Briefings, Training, Education & AwarenessResponsible for other administrative duties relating to classified contracts within the Industrial Security Group as they pertain to the support of Department of Defense and other federal agencies to include but not limited to: * Receipt, generation, and accountability of classified information* Destruction of classified information* Control of classified safes and secure rooms* Internal record audits* Combination Changes * Security Awareness * Review and retention of contract classification guidance * Maintenance and updates of the Security Information Management System (SIMS) database as it pertains to classified document control* Visit Authorization Letters Minimum Eduction:* Bachelors Degree preferredRequired Experience:Knowledge of NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, and applicable DCIDs. A minimum of two years' experience in Industrial Security is desired. Candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to organize, multi-task, and work effectively within diverse teams of individuals is essential. Attention to detail is a must.
